More production space for growing demand: investment in production technology

Siloanlagen Achberg GmbH & Co. KG

With its fourth extension, Siloanlagen Achberg has once again increased its production space. With an additional 2,800 square meters and an optimization of the production processes, the company is responding to the increasing demand and is focusing on further growth.

The extension creates new space for optimizing the production processes of the metal processing company. In addition, the production facilities now include more state-of-the-art production equipment such as an additional tube and profile laser. ‘We are now even better positioned to fulfil the wishes of our customers and strengthen our position on the market,’ says Managing Director Gerd Maass, ’because the new production machines make it possible to make production processes more efficient and further improve the quality of the products.’

The transfer to the new production facilities is almost complete. Even with the transfer work, production continued almost without a break. ‘Our team did a very good job of making the transition as smooth as possible,’ says Maass. As a result, 98% of all planned delivery dates were met during the entire reorganization period.

The company has been in the industry for over 25 years and is known for its high-quality components for storing and conveying bulk materials in the plastics industry. ‘The expansion is an important step towards meeting the increasing requirements of the market and ensuring that we are able to be competitive,’ says Maass. The company currently has a total area of 50,000 m² at two locations, with a production area of around 14,000 m².
