Westland Strengthens its Industrial Rollers Division

Westland Gummiwerke GmbH & Co. KG

Application Engineer Pascal Valenthin joins Westland's Industrial Rollers division, bringing nearly 20 years of expertise in roller technology.

Westland has strengthened its Industrial Rollers division with the appointment of Pascal Valenthin to its Application Engineering and Sales team. Bringing nearly 20 years of experience in roller technology, he supports customers in selecting, optimising and refurbishing industrial rollers through practical, application-focused engineering support.

In many industrial manufacturing processes, rubber-covered rollers play a vital role in product quality, process stability and overall operational efficiency. Their influence on the production process, however, often only becomes apparent when wear, product quality issues or unplanned downtime occur. Professional application engineering helps identify root causes at an early stage and develop solutions tailored to the specific application.

Against this background, Pascal Valenthin joins Westland's Industrial Rollers division, where he supports customers in Application Engineering and Sales. In his new role, he advises customers on the selection, optimisation and refurbishment of industrial rollers while providing application engineering support for both new and existing production processes.

Pascal Valenthin brings nearly 20 years of experience in roller technology. His expertise covers the entire rubber covering process, from manufacturing through to the application engineering assessment of complex technical requirements. He combines in-depth technical knowledge with a strong commitment to quality and a practical understanding of the commercial requirements of industrial production.

For customers and partners, this means expert technical consulting, reliable project support and a dedicated technical contact for demanding roller applications. Working closely with customers, he focuses on developing solutions that are both technically robust and economically viable while contributing to long-term process reliability.

In his role within the Industrial Rollers division, Pascal Valenthin advises customers on selecting the most appropriate solution for their application. Westland's portfolio includes the refurbishment of worn rubber- and polyurethane-covered rollers, the supply of ready-to-install complete rollers, and the fast refurbishment of worn roller surfaces through precision grinding or the modification of functional surface profiles.

With this addition to its Application Engineering team, Westland continues to expand its technical consulting capabilities within the Industrial Rollers division, providing customers with direct access to application-specific expertise for the development, optimisation and maintenance of demanding roller applications.
