ELIN Motoren is expanding its portfolio with a new asynchronous motor series meeting IE4 efficiency standards. The latest development enables operators to significantly reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, achieving lower lifecycle costs and greater system sustainability — even in the most challenging applications.
Designed for tunnel boring machines, underground mining systems, mixers, extruders, and hydraulic drives, the new series combines robust asynchronous design with advanced water-jacket cooling for excellent thermal stability and compact construction. The result is a motor optimized for continuous operation under tough ambient conditions and high load demands.
Following the launch of the synchronous reluctance motor (IE5) in 2024, this new asynchronous range extends ELIN Motoren’s offering for energy-optimized electric drives across all major industrial segments.
