‘Quality Brand 2025’ award for above-average quality and reliability

A.B.S. Silo- und Förderanlagen GmbH

German Institute for Product and Market Assessment (DIPMB - Deutsches Institut für Produkt- und Marktbewertung GmbH) recognizes high quality and reliability.

A.B.S. Silo- und Förderanlagen GmbH has been awarded the “Quality Brand 2025” seal by the German Institute for Product and Market Evaluation (DIPMB). The DIPMB awards this seal to brands that stand out for their above-average product quality, reliability, and high customer satisfaction. For A.B.S., the award is an important signal that its consistent focus on quality is being recognized in the market and in the public eye.

“Quality Brand 2025”: Make the right purchasing decision with an independent seal of approval

Based on an AI-supported market research study conducted between May 2024 and April 2025, the DIPMB awarded the certification across all industries in the entire D-A-CH region. Millions of digital mentions from social media, review platforms, blogs, and forums were recorded and evaluated. The complete list of award-winning brands is available at: https://dipmb.de/auszeichnungen-2025/.

The evaluation focuses on quality characteristics such as:

product and execution quality, reliability, customer orientation, technical competence, and the relevance and frequency of quality-related statements in the public perception.

About the methodology

The brand mentions were subjected to an in-depth semantic analysis. In addition to identifying positive and negative evaluations, the respective contexts were also taken into account so that statements such as “not bad” could be classified as positive. Semantic fields were also analyzed in order to correctly capture synonyms and related terms. To avoid distortions, the study checked the data for relevance and authenticity. On this basis, a multidimensional evaluation was carried out, which included quality aspects such as performance, reliability, customer orientation, and trust.

In addition, the frequency of quality-related statements was measured to determine which brands are particularly strongly associated with these characteristics. The result is a representative, multi-layered picture of public brand perception in the D-A-CH region, which forms the basis for awarding the “Quality Brand 2025” seal.

Over 40 years of A.B.S. Silo- und Förderanlagen

When they hear the word “silo,” some people still think of huge, heavy, immovable metal towers. But there is a more compact, lighter, and more flexible option: Flex Silos from A.B.S. In the 1980s, company founder Adolf Lesk specialized in a new silo technology. The idea was to use textiles instead of metal. The fabric is just as stable and resilient, but significantly lighter and more flexible. It was a design that caught on.

The company grew rapidly. In 2006, A.B.S. moved into a new company building in Osterburken. In line with sustainability principles, the energy concept for heat and power supply has consisted of a heat pump, photovoltaics, and pellet heating since 2022.

Innovation and flexibility as a recipe for success – internationally

The use of innovative technology is part of the A.B.S. program. In 1999, for example, this was a modern textile welding technique, and in 2022, a 3XL laser cutting machine. Thanks to contactless cutting, the laser achieves high dimensional accuracy while producing a perfectly welded cutting edge. Even complicated shapes can be produced without any problems. The polyester material used for silo production is also a high strength, high-tech fabric. The medium-sized, owner-managed company offers standard silos as well as silos tailored to individual needs – for a wide variety of bulk materials and premises. Since its foundation in 1984, A.B.S. has delivered more than 100,000 flexible silos to customers in agriculture, industry, and pellet storage worldwide. Managing directors Heike Stang and Matthias Petzl are proud of this special award, which they have achieved together with their dedicated team, and say: “We take this award as an incentive to continue to do our best every day.”
