KOCH presents the next generation of compact palletising solutions at Fachpack 2025

When the international packaging industry meets again at Fachpack in Nurem berg from 23 to 25 September, KOCH Robotersysteme will also be there as an exhibitor. 

This year‘s motto is once again: Full (packaging) power ahead! − In Hall 7A, Stand 523, KOCH Roboter systeme will be presenting its new end-of-line automation solutions. The focus will be on the improved KOCH PalletSystemMove, which impresses with even more functionality and flexibility − compact in size, big in performance.

Compact all-rounder for palletising − KOCH PalletSystemMove: now even more intelligent

The new version of the KOCH PalletSystemMove combines familiar strengths with new innovative features. High flexibility and maximum efficiency in a small space of just 9.5 m². The system can de-palletise and palletise in two places, is mobile and can be flexibly integrated into existing production lines, for example with a height-adjustable infeed or the option of an AGV connection.

The new version of the system can also be equipped with different grippers and supplemented with auto matic intermediate layer handling. An industrial robot from ABB or KUKA, whose movements are protec ted by non-contact safety zones, also ensures maximum process speed in the new version. The specially developed user interface and the KOCH EasyPallet software tool also continue to enable particularly intuitive use of the systems, for example when quickly creating palletising patterns.

But the real upgrade is the PALLOC robot guidance system − a solution from the technology company SICK. SICK is a long-standing and reliable partner. KOCH has relied on this successful collaboration for many years in a wide range of automation projects. PALLOC enables highly flexible depalletising using a 3D colour camera and deep learning. Regardless of whether cartons of different shapes or sizes - the camera reliably recognises every position, measures accurately and transmits the position data to the robot in real time. The result: more speed, more autonomy, less set-up work.
